Khoo Kongsi is actually a place for the Khoo family to gather for important events. There is a stage, a Chinese temple, and a brief history of the Khoo Family at the Khoo Kongsi area. Khoo Kongsi is in between the shop houses. To go in, you will need to pay an entrance fee of RM5 per person. Once you walk inside through the corridor, you will arrive into a wide open area, right in the middle of the shop houses. The sight is spectacular. To me it felt like rediscovering gold behind my backyard.
